First the positives. This gift set is cute and practical, the box is well-made from good quality cardboard, and the blanket and comforter are really soft. Whilst I was never a fan of muslin cloths when my children were babies, the two included colour co-ordinate nicely and add to the overall charm of this gift set. The labels have the UK CA mark so have undergone the necessary safety checks. Now for the negatives. I was pleased to see in the product listing that the set was "MADE IN THE UK - from our production studio in the North West our team of artisan mums excel in crafting..." so was surprised that the contents are actually manufactured in China. I do think it is a bit ingenuous to have the "made in the UK" claim when "assembled in the UK" would probably be more accurate but this is still a nice gift set.

…thick card to include with this If giving this as a shower or christening gift. I added a picture of what you get in real life. Than the photo shoot version. Soft all round and generous size. Well apart from the muslin cloth (not that soft) which they say is perfect for swaddling. I guess the breathable aspect is good. Just feel like it will be harsh directly on a baby’s skin.
