We bought this for our 3 month old baby to watch as he loves lights and after going to sensory cafes we decided to buy our own light projector. Great selection of coloured lights and modes, so it can used as a moving projector or a still light display. It has to be dark to use it (obviously) with the blinds and curtains closed, it makes a small humming noise but otherwise is near silent. It’s such a relaxing experience for both baby and adults alike, we have it on before bedtime and we all enjoy watching the display on the ceiling and walls. I would love to buy some more top covers for different images but the underwater and star covers are great! My only criticism is the usb cable is a bit short so can be difficult to get into the right position in order to see the full effects and it drains batteries - 4 AAA. But you could use an extension cord.

Problems were as follows 1. Does not work on batteries only on mains 2. Does not rotate as advertised. 3. On one colour workes at a time and has to be manually changed. I bought two of these for my grandsons ,they are rubbish. Didn't return this item because when I contacted amazon after the soccer ball I bought for my grandson (with autism) who loved the colours when he kicked it, would not recharge after running out of charge the first time. Amazon couldn't even guarantee they would cover the return postage.
