The baby gift box arrives in quite a simple cardboard box sealed with cellophane to protect it during transit. The box measures 27cm in width, 21.5cm in depth and 7.5cm in height and the box can either be used for storage or recycled easily after use. Inside the branded cardboard gift box is a thank you card, a set of small booties, a zebra comforter and a blanket – it would make a nice gift for newborns. The blanket did have a lot of loose fluff on it when I shook it out with a few areas of scrappy stitching, which wasn’t the best first impression and there also wasn’t a care label attached either. However, the soft grey blanket is decorated with giraffes and elephants and although the blanket is relatively thin, the material is very soft and warm. The zebra comforter feels excellent quality, is super soft and does have the appropriate labels. The booties are made from cotton but due to the wide stitch pattern they are more decorative than functional in terms of keeping your little one’s feet warm. All of the items are made from soft materials including recycled plastics and cottons which are hypoallergenic and doesn’t cause irritation to delicate skin. The set is grey and white in colour which means the set is gender neutral, and the materials also have a good degree of breathability / warmth to them. There aren’t any care labels on the products regarding washing so I would approach with caution regarding this, but I would imagine a gentle machine wash at 30°C would suffice. Priced at £15.99 at the time of reviewing, this is a nice gift set and would be good for gifting at a baby shower, but I do feel like the blanket element somewhat lets the gift down as it is a little on the thin side and arrived with a lot of loose fluff and messy stitching. However, the zebra comforter is a lovely element and the booties are quite cute (although not the most practical).

Bought for a baby shower gift … the bootees were super cute and the comforter was soo soft it was gorgeous. Although the blanket was also super soft it was quite thin and oddly shaped (not a nice square) which totally let the gift down, so overall disappointed.
