This helped me out so much with my new baby, it gave me things to show her and came in a handy bag so I had a little go to bag when out and needing to entertain her. She is 14 months now and we still use bits from it! Wouldn’t absolutely recommend as a gift for new parents

Good combination of sensory items in a handy bag! I bought this when our baby was 3m old, he's now nearly 6m and we're still using it. The wooden maracas and plush rattle have been massive hits and worth the money alone - he still prefers them to other more complex and expensive rattles! The scarf, wooden ribbon ring and crinkly book have also gone down well. The only issue is the plastic worm toy that is not meant for children under 3 years old - this should just be removed from the kit, it's enough without it. Better not to rely on exhausted parents noticing the age limit is different than you'd expect - I only did due to another review on here!

I received the sensory toy kit for newborns today and I was very disappointed with it. Some of the toys are very small, and there was one in a packet that is clearly a choking hazard, the packet even states on it, it's unsuitable for 0-3 years of age. Would not recommend. I am returning mine for a refund.

My baby loves all the items especially the foil blanket. Just to make you aware my baby had played with the sheer fabric today and we found that a very thin thread from the fabric was wrapped around my babies finger. It was very hard to see and I only noticed it because the thread tickled my arm. It was wrapped quite tight around her finger and her finger was red. I managed to get it off and she is fine but if I hadn't noticed it could have been serious.
