We've used a couple of different types of kit for our daughter's grandparents. This one was the best. It has a specific slot for clay to be pressed into and holds it well, as well as making it easier to "square off" the clay. The frame and frame insert are good quality too. It can be free standing or hung up.

I have gotten this so I have a beautiful memory of my dog that passed away. Easy to get it ready to take the footprint. I haven't done the best job with mold edges but I'm happy as it is. 😊 It is a good quality and the instructions are clear how to prepare the mold.

This is a nice product. It was a little difficult doing hand/foot print in the clay, as you have to press really pretty hard (do it while baby is asleep!) but overall I think it's a good item and would make a nice gift for new parents.

My son and I made the grandparents a lovely gift this Christmas with this set. They are very pleased with the result and have said it will be cherished forever. I was surprised at how easy this set was to use, I often find instructions for craft sets difficult to understand quickly. The process did not take very long at all however we did need 5 days to dry our casting to frame it.
